L O U D I J O S E P H 1928 - 2007
After graduation from the Philadelphia Museum School of Art, currently known as the
University of the Arts, DiJoseph embarked on a successful career in advertising.
In 1991 he left his position as a Creative Director of Young & Rubicam New York,
one of the world’s largest advertising agencies to concentrate on art and
photography. Perhaps his most recognizable work in the advertising
business, was the development of the “Be All You Can Be”
campaign for the US Army.

From 1991 to 1996 he worked out of
his studio in Darien, Connecticut exhibiting
at the Rowayton Arts Center, the Silvermine Guild
and the Darien Council on the Arts. He moved to San
Francisco in 1996 and exhibited at Cafe Faba, Renzo,
Calumet and in a solo show at the Focus Gallery. He died
of complications due to Parkinson’s Disease on May 30th, 2007.
